Job Description Overview:
CAM for ASUS Systems Business Group assigned to our US VAR Sales Team.  Responsible for all commercial sales functions within our VAR business & corresponding sub verticals.  This is a named role, responsible for Bluum and all end customer that purchase ASUS products thru them.  The candidate will work to develop a business & execution plan associated to this role for the products in our System Business Group business unit, which includes/not limited to: Chromebooks, Windows Notebooks, Desktops, and All-in-ones.  The candidate is responsible for defining and profiling Bluum’s total market (TAM), and driving all prospective reseller targets, channel relationships, and OEM partnerships.  The candidate will be responsible for all coordinated joint-selling with Bluum, ASUS channel program management and execution, and total resources utilization.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Responsible for identifying and closing sales opportunities within Commercial Reseller verticals.
  • Works with named Reseller, large cohort of current and prospective End Customers, and ASUS supporting staff to drive sales volume and execution in assigned channels and verticals.
  • Proactively identifies market opportunities and sub-vertical secular trends that best align with ASUS state-of-business and product assortment.
  • Executes a business plan focused on driving unit and revenue growth and measurement against defined targets for total Commercial market in the US.
  • Maintains contact within a very large customer and prospect base, providing routine communication about ASUS programs, offers, and promotions.
  • Travels throughout the assigned region to conduct face-to-face business development and opportunity generation, team and cross-functional coordination inside Bluum and ASUS.
  • Frequent field engagement with Bluum staff, corresponding prospects/customers, vendors, and business influencers that best drives: awareness, visibility, sales relationships, partnership leverage, and sales execution.
Required Knowledge, Years of Education, Work Experience, Skills Sets, and/or Certification:
  • College Degree.
  • 7-10+ years of prior Sales experience in IT Hardware in Distribution & Reseller channels.
  • High understanding of indirect Commercial channel sales.
  • Prior performance with utilizing web platforms and ecommerce to drive scale and execution. 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate the ASUS value proposition.
  • Ability to influence at all levels, both inside customers and ASUS.
  • Expert knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, customer buying patterns and marketing techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organizations.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-direct and work remotely.
  • Proficient with MS Power Point and Excel.
If applicable, Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Business plan development and execution.
  • Demonstrated quota achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Distribution, IT Resellers, and US Commercial Verticals.
  • Technical proficiency in Computer Hardware/IT environments.
  • Proven ability to sell in a complex and dynamic situations.
Working Conditions: 
  • Work at named customer location (Bluum) or industry events/locations or work remotely.
  • Daily required Telephone, Email, Communication duties.
  • Face-to-Face Training, Client Engagement, Internal Reporting.
  • Approx. 25%-50% travel required.
