We are looking for:
Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Media Manager to join our high-performing team. The Media Manager manages and oversees the lifecycle of media content, with a focus on advertising and commercial content. This role ensures that all ads and commercials are processed, scheduled, and transmitted accurately and efficiently, working closely with other staff to maintain high standards of broadcast quality and compliance.
This on-site role requires travel to project sites as required (up to 30%).
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ingestion, scheduling, and playout of advertisements and commercial content within the MCR environment.
- Ensure all ads and commercials are properly formatted, tagged, and prepared for broadcast according to industry standards and client requirements.
- Manage ad traffic, including coordinating the placement of ads within programming and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes, special events, and last-minute ad requests.
- Ensure timely delivery and accurate execution of ad content, including any necessary adjustments or substitutions.
- Perform quality checks on ads and commercials to ensure they meet broadcast standards and technical specifications.
- Monitor ad performance and resolve any issues related to the playback or display of commercial content.
- Create and improve guidelines for metadata ingestion including licensing and usage rights.
- Monitor and audit assets to adhere to established governance standards, ensure process standards are being followed for managing assets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven file management experience using Isilon storage systems
- EVS IPD and XTaccess knowledge
- Grass Valley AMPP Asset Management
- Signiant Media Shuttle knowledge
- Knowledge of working with a Traffic department of a client for Ad file management
- Experience with maintaining detailed spreadsheets, databases, and asset management systems.
- Strong ability to catalog and manage media assets, ensuring that all materials are accessible for teams.
- Familiarity with ingesting footage, managing file formats, and using media asset management software.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure that all media assets are properly labeled, archived, and in compliance with technical requirements.
- Ability to work on-site from office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
- Ability to travel to client sites as required.
Compensation & Benefits:
This project-based role is paid an hourly rate of $65-75/hr.
