We are looking for:
Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our high performing team and oversee audiovisual systems integration projects while helping to ensure client success.
Our portfolio covers an array of projects including but not limited to designing, building and expanding video production studios, sound recording studios, corporate event centers, video presentation systems, commercial sound systems, and screening rooms. The successful candidate will join our Broadcast Systems Integration and Professional Services team, which is comprised of an extraordinarily talented group of engineers and project personnel who thrive in our collaborative work environment with our dynamic portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the client relationship during the execution phase of the project
  • Develop the communications plan to meet the needs of the client and project stakeholders
  • Assist the Head of Broadcast Systems Integration and Professional Services and Lead Project Engineer in developing the project plan
  • Develop and track the project budget
  • Lead the project team to ensure that the team’s deliverables meet the project objectives
  • Review and understand the project documents including scope of work, specifications, architectural drawings, technical systems drawings, project schedule, and budget
  • Develop and manage the project schedule for the systems integration project
    • Review the construction project schedule and work with the general contractor to coordinate timing and sequencing for site readiness and installation activities
    • Develop need-by dates for equipment and materials according to the pre-build and installation plan
    • Interface with project resources and subcontractors to estimate task effort and durations
    • Manage the allocation of resources to meet the project schedule and budget
  • Clearly present verbal and written reports and project related presentations, to project stakeholders
  • This position has ultimate responsibility for the financial success of the project
    • Work with the finance and accounting team to track and report on the financial status of projects
    • Enter and track the relevant project information in the project accounting system (Solutions 360)
    • Calculate and track earned value and cost to complete
    • Track project costs for both goods and services
    • Manage internal and customer change orders
  • Track and report the progress of project tasks and deliverables
  • Track and report the status of project risks and risk mitigation actions
  • Track and maintain the project issue log, including managing the assignment and escalation of items
  • Coordinate with project engineers and subcontractors to respond to project RFI and Submittals
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing systems integration projects in the M&E or Audiovisual industry
  • Related technical degree or equivalent technical experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Basic understanding of project financial parameters
  • Construction project experience
  • Ability to read and understand AV systems drawings, architectural plans, and MEP plans
  • PMP Certification Preferred
  • CTS Preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets tools

Compensation & Benefits:

This full-time role offers a salary of 90,000 - 120,000 plus benefits.
