We are looking for:
Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Digital Asset Manager to join our high-performing team. The Digital Asset Manager will be responsible for the organization, storage, retrieval, and distribution of digital assets (images, videos, documents) using OrangeDAM. This role will implement metadata structures, ensure brand consistency, manage user access rights, and optimize workflows between marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure all digital assets are systematically organized and categorized, making it easy for users to find and retrieve content when needed
- Catalog, tag, and organize digital assets using OrangeDAM to ensure easy search ability and maintain consistency in how assets are tagged, described, and used, adhering to brand guidelines and standards
- Track and validate metadata, work on taxonomy or tagging, and engage in training with end users
- Enhance search capabilities within the DAM system by leveraging metadata, tags, and advanced search functionalities
- Assist in the search and sourcing of assets during fast-paced active projects, resolving asset requests, providing legally cleared alternative options, and helping acquire clearance for restricted assets
- Plug into workflows and processes related to the creation, management, and distribution of digital assets, increasing overall operational efficiency
- Oversee usage rights, licensing, and compliance, ensuring assets are legally cleared for use
- Oversee the quality of digital assets, ensuring only high-quality and relevant content is stored and distributed
- Train users on how to effectively use the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including best practices for tagging, searching, and retrieving assets
- Manage user roles and permissions to control access to digital assets and ensure security
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Library Science, or a related field, plus 2+ years of prior experience managing digital content or systems
- Strong experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) software and understanding of file formats, taxonomies, and metadata standards
- High level of accuracy in cataloging and auditing digital content libraries
- Ability to work cross-functionally between technical teams (IT) and creative teams
Role is temporary part-time in person in Santa Monica, Ca
Estimated schedule: 20 hours per week - Monday through Friday - 2pm - 6pm

Compensation:
This project-based role offers an hourly pay rate of $48 - 52/hr depending on experience.
