We are Looking for:
The Associate Producer’s responsibilities will vary from project to project, but may include supporting producers and talent, light line production with guidance from producers, and shopping for products. Associate Producers will be responsible for managing their own projects, as well as supporting other Producers with their projects as well.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees day-to-day production processes through from conception to final cut to ensure activities are running according to schedule.
- The Associate Producer is ultimately accountable for the delivery of high-quality content within the budget and on schedule.
- Participates in meetings with production team to remain current with all changes in the production schedule.
- Collaborates with the Studio Ops team to maintain and apply content and search engine optimization.
- Ability to meet daily deadlines and turn around production of new content quickly, similar to a production environment.
- Understanding of, and interest in keeping up with, emerging web-based technologies including mobile, social media, audio/video streaming, curation, etc.
- Work internally with marketing, sales, QA, customer support, and other departments.
- Iterate on and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of productions.
- Creatively solve potential problems that may arise during any phase of a production.
- Responsible for developing production resource plans and acts as a resource wrangler between production and the studio.
- Function as tactical consultant to the Producer, offering suggestions and alternatives to push their creative vision within production and budget constraints.
- Responsible for overall schedule; partnering with the Producer to ensure creative requests are prioritized and can be accomplished within the production schedule.
- Work closely with Production Management and Team Leadership to ensure high level objectives are clearly understood and communicated to crew.
- Responsible for providing guidance to the team during production.
- Primary responsibility for maintaining a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ability to resolve issues when there are any problems during the production work and provide effective solutions for the same.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience
- Excellent communication skills are crucial while interacting with the unit members and the clients.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- The Associate Producer should have an eye for detail with excellent time management and organizational skills to get the projects completed on time.
- Experience in live event and multimedia production, preferably with a large, corporate entity or commercial institution.
- Proven track record in the delivery of corporate video projects to client specification.
- Advanced knowledge of audio/visual systems and videoconferencing technology.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet the deadlines outlined for a particular project.
- Excellent leadership and supervising skills
- Should possess excellent knowledge on the technical aspects involved in the production and should be able to operate different types of tools and production equipment.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is $100,000-$110,000.
