What will you be doing?
 

Argus, a fast-growing global B2B media company, is seeking a self-motivated, results focused, detail-oriented marketing professional to join the team in London. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced marketing manager who has a proven track record of optimising campaigns and delivering marketing initiatives to support strategic sales plans.  We are currently a $450 million brand leader and we are looking to take Argus to the next level.

 

The ideal candidate is analytical and radiates a can-do positive energy, capable in working through ambiguity to deliver marketing campaigns that build the brand and explicitly produce high quality sales leads.

 

Key Responsibilities and Competencies

 

This role will be responsible for planning, organising, executing, and measuring programs that create relevant two-way interactions with buyers and customers to inform and influence their buying decisions and broader relationship with Argus Media. The Marketing Manager will work with sales account managers to support account growth objectives for our top 70 accounts across the business.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating and executing innovative marketing campaigns incorporating value propositions and key messages.
  • Showcasing and promoting our consulting services and conferences to strategic accounts.
  • Understanding which other internal marketing campaigns and assets to leverage to support your initiatives.
  • Supporting sales with pre and post renewal campaigns, best positioning our products and services.
  • Continuously testing, analysing and tracking results of all  marketing activity, (KPIs, budgets/financial returns, ROI, planning, sizing) and making recommendations for future activity to improve campaign performance. Sharing insight and commentary contextualising performance.
  • Utilising the full marketing mix to enhance campaigns including social promotion and paid media.
  • Creating marketing campaigns in other languages  (Advantageous but not essential)
  • Promoting marketing plans internally, updating them through collaboration with sales.
  • Collaborating with other internal teams to develop and deploy impactful and dynamic marketing assets.
  • Ensuring consistency and professionalism in all marketing collateral.
  • Working with the Web Operations Team to develop landing pages for strategic accounts.
  • Providing thought provoking copy that resonates with the audience and drives action on these landing pages.
  • Educating and inspiring account managers on the potential role of marketing within strategic accounts.
  • Collaborating with other internal marketing teams to ensure audience segments from the strategic accounts dataset are included in other Argus marketing campaigns effectively.

  •     Improvement in landing page performance
  •     Development of dynamic and responsive marketing assets

 

Skills and Experience

 

  •     5+ years’ B2B marketing experience
  •     Proven experience partnering successfully with sales teams
  •     Data-driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
  • Proven ability to design and implement integrated multi-touch programs that involve the marketing of thought leadership assets along with a problem/solution approach
  •     Ability to leverage data and insights in the development of marketing plans aligned to account strategies
  •     Able to navigate a complex environment involving stakeholders in various business functions
  •     Strong written communication and analytical skills
  • Others: energetic/positive, good communicator, detail and result oriented, planning and management skills, readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements, customer focussed, and goal/results oriented
