Seeking qualified candidates for Fire Alarm / Mass Notification Technician and other Construction trades positions for multi-year overseas assignment in Jordan.  US expat candidates encouraged to submit your resume if you have experience / skills in the below listed discipline(s). Must be able to obtain a military base pass and work on-site in the country of Jordan. This overseas military base maintenance project is a long term assignment with a 5 year duration.

Transportation, lodging and meals will be provided.  Extended work week of 50-60 hours per week planned. Candidates with previous experience on AFCAP or LOGCAP projects desired, but not required.

Fire Suppression and Alarm/Mass Notification Technician:

In this position you will be responsible for the maintenance of the fire notification systems, fire-extinguishing systems and exhaust hoods containing a constant or fire-actuated water system to extinguish a fire in the grease removal devices, hood exhaust plenums, and exhaust ducts.


Requires:

  • Experience with the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of systems for Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations, Inspection of Fire-Extinguishing Systems, inspection of hand held fire extinguishers
  • Shall be properly trained and qualified to inspect and certify systems that are used in commercial cooking operations to extinguish a fire in the grease removal devices, hood exhaust plenum's, and exhaust ducts.  Will be expected to test and certify systems.
  • Shall be experienced servicing fire notification systems including smoke detectors, sprinklers, test pull stations, and fire alarm panels.  Will be manufacturer trained for new systems as installed.
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a military base pass
  • Must be able to travel and work on-site at project location for extended periods of time
  • Education:  High school or GED at minimum
