Description

ECC is seeking a Site Supervisor for groundwater treatment facility responsible for performing daily operational duties at Fort Carson, CO. In this position you will:

• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of a Groundwater Treatment Facility
• Perform operational duties, daily testing and record keeping as well as process control functions
• Responsibilities also include regulatory and safety compliance
• Assist with routine maintenance and facility grounds upkeep
• Plan, oversee, and assist with groundwater monitoring, water supply well monitoring, and alternate water supply well program activities.
• Train and mentor junior level sampling technicians.
• Oversee drilling operations at the site.
• Provide health and safety briefings for all field activities at the site
• Serve as Quality Control Manager for all field activities and daily operations
• In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position

Requirements

• Apply basic knowledge of relevant principles and tools, as directed
• Apply standard protocol for work, as directed
• Communicate effectively by written and verbal means
• Perform multiple concurrent tasks and meet timelines, as directed
• Work well independently and as a team
• 10 years project experience in groundwater sampling and water treatment plant operations(including low flow and passive sampling techniques), groundwater level gauging, and collection of groundwater and soil samples via direct push sampling techniques.
• Previous experience operating and/or overseeing drilling operations including well installation, well abandonment, and well testing.
• Education - High School diploma or GED is required.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and annual 8 hour refresher training

Preferred Qualifications

• State of Colorado Water Treatment Plant Operator License
• Knowledgeable and skilled in groundwater treatment technologies, including but not limited to Advanced Oxidation Processes, Ultra-violet photolysis, air stripping, metals removal systems, particulate filtration systems, sludge dewatering, liquid and vapor phase granular activated carbon systems.

ECC targeted base pay rate for the Colorado Springs, CO area is $ $62,3338 to $89,103 (annual equivalent).
Actual pay rate offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
