Everyday Health Group Pregnancy and Parenting (EHG P&P) is seeking a high-achieving Account Executive to drive sales of our digital patient recruitment solutions to pharmaceutical companies and Contract Research Organizations (CROs). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital media healthcare sales, with a focus on new business development, pipeline management, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a strategic approach and a strong understanding of the healthcare/pharmaceutical/clinical research industry. Reporting to the Director, Business Development, Patient Recruitment. 

 

Responsibilities include:
Sales & Business Development:
  • Proactively identify and qualify new client opportunities for EHG P&P's digital patient recruitment solutions through prospecting, lead generation, and new account development
  • Proactively generate new business with CROs and pharmaceutical companies (hunter role)
  • Develop client presentations to effectively sell patient recruitment solutions
  • Uncover client objectives and develop solutions to achieve them
  • Develop and execute strategic media plans to maximize client recruitment success and drive revenue growth
  • Actively manage and expand sales pipeline to consistently exceed revenue targets
Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at CROs and pharmaceutical companies
Sales Operations & Reporting:
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, actively managing pipeline to ensure accurate projections and revenue attainment
  • Collaborate with legal to review and negotiate SOWs and MSAs
Collaboration & Feedback:
  • Collaborate strategically with internal teams (account management, planning, marketing) to optimize client campaigns and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Provide client feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product development
Job Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience including 2 or more of proven digital media sales success (clinical research/pharma preferred)
  • Experience selling digital media solutions to achieve client goals (e.g., registrations, enrollments) and track performance
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and exceed sales quotas
  • Experience in solution/value-based selling
  • Proven track record of revenue achievement
  • Experience with healthcare or similar highly regulated clients (pharma/patient recruitment experience preferred)
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Office, and Microsoft Office - PPT, Excel and Word

  • Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop creative client solutions

Note: The salary compensation for this role is $90,000 to $110,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
