Ziff Davis Shopping is a money saving digital media company dedicated to delivering exceptional consumer and merchant-advertiser experiences across a portfolio of leading brands. Our domestic brands include RetailMeNot, Offers.com and TechBargains.
Our operations team is looking for a remote Offshore Operations Manager who will assist the Platform Operations team in running multiple digital savings properties, including RetailMeNot.com and Offers.com. We are seeking someone who is passionate about the online shopping space and knows how to create a phenomenal user experience to help our customers save. You will demonstrate impressive attention to detail and organizational skills, an aptitude to learn quickly and a strong desire to optimize systems and processes. You have a proven track record of working with offshore teams (or other large workforces) and creating successful relationships with them. You also love teaching others how to succeed in an operational environment.
What You’ll Do - Responsibilities:
- Critically engage with offshore workers with an eye for patterns in performance and technical issues
- Create reports around KPIs and interpret that data to deliver valuable insights and identify opportunities
- Communicate with international and internal teams consistently to ensure all contracted work is completed per service level agreements
- Support new cross functional projects that require offshore resources
- Develop training, guidelines and performance expectations for all new projects
- Provide strategic operational input as it pertains to overall company goals by mapping offshore work streams to the internal business strategy
- Identify and drive efficiency gains across all lines of business that are supported by offshore teams
- Host routine operational calls with offshore teams and offshore stakeholders
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, Sales and SEO to ensure all operational needs are met, as well as delivering recommendations to appropriate stakeholders
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to provide functional input for the creation and improvement of all commerce platforms
- Provide ongoing training and support to internal team members who support offshore operations
Who You Are - Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA from an accredited university
- 3+ years experience in a related role
- Proficient spreadsheet and reporting skills - working with large data sets
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams
- Experience working with multiple CMSes in a commerce environment
- Project management experience
- Experience working with affiliate networks
- Demonstrated knowledge of SEO, SEM, and web merchandising
- Experience developing reports that map workforce activity to internal company goals
