Job Summary: 

The Team Lead – Service, Advisor will support our Managers, Associates, and Clients. This individual will develop staff, handle escalations, and work on projects, while working closely with their direct Manager to ensure the team is best positioned to provide excellent service to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert both internally and externally on platform functionality
  • Demonstrate outstanding advisor support through proven service techniques
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for team members for performing the role to the best of their ability and promoting the best interests of the department
  • Point of contact for team member inquiries, as well as other internal teams
  • Serve as an escalation point for sensitive issues.
  • Proactively reach out to members to work on complex issues
  • Partner with team members on Continuing Education initiatives
  • Answer team member questions regarding best practices and complex issues.
  • Communicate updates to the team and hold meetings
  • Create and maintain Advisor Services new hire training materials
  • Deliver consultation and support to financial advisors through inbound calls, educating them on the benefits and functions of platform capabilities, increasing platform usage and advisor efficiency.
  • Work with team members to run Advisor Services new hire trainings, assisting with presentation preparation, reviewing expectations, and logistical considerations
  • Ensure accuracy of internal knowledge sharing application (One Note)
  • Create and maintain documentation as requested by Management
  • Additional projects as requested by Management
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field of study
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial services area in a client facing role
