Position SummaryGeneral Description Reviews and edits speech-recognized documents to produce a comprehensive and accurate document. Formats speech-recognized documents according to medical records guidelines. Develop deficiencies and communicate with physicians related to incorrect or missing documentation. Perform medical record reviews for physician reappointment. Document donor network discharges and verify information. Track and report data using excel spreadsheets for clinical executive committee. Perform analysis of medical record documentation in the HIM Analysis WQ’s. Perform daily deficiency and suspension functions including calling physicians and developing reports. Respond to physician questions related to the use of EPIC and provide training related to responding to queries, use of EPIC in-basket, and other minor Epic functions. In addition to performing the essential functions listed, may assist with other duties in the HIM department as needed. | |

Essential Job Responsibilities | |
Achieving Results Key Components: assess, plan, evaluate, demonstrate initiative, quality of work, productivity | Review and Edit Voice Recognition Dictation: 1. Daily monitoring of Dragon Notes 2. Develop reports for Dragon Notes 3. Monitor and review Dragon notes for accuracy and missing documentation:
4. Communicate with physicians related to necessary corrections. 5. Develop deficiencies for missing or incorrect documentation. 6. Implement the Suspension process when required. |

Donor Network Deceased Discharges Monthly List 2. Run reports for deceased patient data. 3. Information must be manipulated into spreadsheet from Donor network 4. Develop and process physician reappointments Monthly 2. Collaborate with the Medical staff for monthly reports by physician. 3. Run Bi-Launch/Clarity reports for physician reappointment periods. 4. Perform medical record review for each physician in Epic based on joint commission criteria. 5. Enter results in Midas software. 6. Run reports in Midas for Medical staff 7. Run reports in Clarity/Bi-Launch as needed for medical staff office. |
