Venterra Roving Make Ready Technicians enjoy competitive hourly pay + 10% performance-based bonus, paid out quarterly. 


Given that the main focus of this role will require travel throughout the Orlando region the ideal candidate will need to have a working vehicle that allows the ability to travel throughout the region, as needed.

Our Roving Make Ready Technicians are responsible for ensuring that all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to "make ready" status, preparing the apartment for new residents in a timely manner.  The Roving Make Ready Technician’s role requires a wide range of various maintenance needs to assist on-site maintenance teams in the day-to-day operations of their properties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance: 

 

  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • HVAC
  • Appliance Repair
  • Locks & Keys
  • Basic Carpentry
  • Painting and Drywall Repair
  • Janitorial, Grounds
  • Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field
  • On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays; Required as needed
  • Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Travel required
