Marketing Intern, Summer 2025 (Public Administration Group)
Description
Tyler’s Public Administration Marketing team is seeking a marketing intern to join our team this summer! As a Public Administration Marketing Intern, you will experience the day-to-day operations of a successful marketing team supporting an S&P 500 company. If you have a passion for marketing and collaboration in a team environment, this internship is for you! The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of marketing best practices, effective time management, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
As part of Tyler’s corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Write and proofread various short- and long-form marketing deliverables, including but not limited to flyers, brochures, videos, scripts, social posts, and ads
- Use sound judgement on image selection for digital, print, and social campaigns
- Write, edit, and review strategic, product-focused email communications for client audiences
- Analyze results of email campaigns and generate reports
- Help maintain a master campaign calendar for strategic programs, including Tyler’s Maine App Challenge
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing team members on content and collateral as part of larger campaigns and initiatives
- Assist with various marketing activities, including campaigns, events, list management, research, and presentations
- Adherence to AP writing style
Qualifications
- Currently an active college student pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related discipline
- Coursework completed in at least two college courses in marketing or related discipline
- Intellectual curiosity and an ability to understand the client’s perspective
- Microsoft Office knowledge (strong Excel or PowerPoint skills a plus)
- Effective time management skills (deadline/results-driven)
- Strong writing abilities and interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with AP writing style
