Position Summary:

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that their department remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. Responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. Should be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. Goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains staff by, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Maintains Quality Product by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
• Support to Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems and personnel requirements; implementing change.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
• Work additional hours over and above your normal working hours may be required to achieve production targets.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Must have excellent leadership skills.
• Must be able to motivate and encourage team members.
• High School Diploma.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace.
• Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by lifting, walking, bending, twisting and carrying materials
