We are actively seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to join the Business and Plans group, part of an integrated team responsible for providing Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Information Management (C4IM) services to organizations and users serviced by the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) – Kwajalein.  The Enterprise Project Specialist will serve as a project planner / scheduler / coordinator for all internal, baseline, mission-funded and special projects.

The Enterprise Project Specialist will work closely with the Operations Manager and Telecommunications Manager to coordinate the execution of project work and should possess knowledge of Army Enterprise services, and the Remedy ticketing flow.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior work experience using MS Project for planning/scheduling
  • Experience in leading project planning exercises
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing available technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Government contracting experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or another related field preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered
  • Must possess and maintain an IAM Level II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002 (Active CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, or GSLC)
  • ITIL certification preferred
  • Project management training / PMI certifications preferred (CAMP or PMP) 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track all tasks associated with a project utilizing MS Project and in compliance with corporate management methodologies.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing resources, and determine impact of project risks and schedule changes
  • Coordinate with Operations Manager and Telecommunications Manager to, resolve scheduling and/or resource conflicts
  • Support development and maintenance of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project
  • Detail plan and maintain the IMS in order to maintain realistic, current contract schedule and project baselines
  • Ensure the IMS is compliant with government customer requirements
  • Ensure the IMS is resource loaded for applicable scope and demonstrates thorough cost and schedule integration
  • Lead and conduct detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness and compliance. Frequently communicate (electronically and verbally) schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis and the results of “what-if” exercises to the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, customers and government leadership
  • Proactively and consistently communicate internally and externally, to include status meetings, kickoff meetings, project reviews, presentations, in person and via phone, electronically, etc.
  • Develop and deliver project status presentations to government and other stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or another related field preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered

Clearance

Position requires that candidate possess a final security clearance in order to access classified information.  Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
