We are actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior AV/VTC Engineer to join the EMEA Team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide engineering expertise and perform integration design, implementation and testing of operations and VTC capabilities and enhancements; new or emerging audio/video architectures; and advancements in audio/video algorithms and protocols. Evaluate technology feasibility, vendor equipment capabilities, evaluation of architectures, development and evaluation of engineering test plans, development and verification of test scripts, management and execution of testing, development of test reports and review and certification of test results. Coordinate with USAREUR Communications Security (COMSEC) group on security and policies to ensure sites within their supported Area of Responsibility (AOR) follow USAREUR policies (e.g., Connection Approval Process (CAP). Provide recommendations and designs for VTC Facility and Media Operations, as well as ATVB architecture and configuration.

Required Education and Experience: 

  •        Must have ten (10+) years of related AV/VTC experience
  •        Audio/Video and Video Teleconference engineer with proven technical ability in design and implementation.
  • CTS-D Certification


Minimum Qualifications

  •        Install secure VTC Suites. Wire and dress equipment cabinets
  •        Audio balance and equalize speakers in rooms
  •        STIG AV/VTC equipment as required
  • Maintain DoD 8570.1-M compliance for IAT Level I with Security+ certification
  •        Estimate level of effort and detail list of materials required for new projects
  •        Conduct admin and end user training.
  •        Write Admin and User guides, document installation instructions
  •        Performs evaluations and testing of new and existing solutions.
  •        Must be able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner.
  •        Can install, configure, and operate systems in highly complex environments with specific protocols and instruct

        and direct those doing these tasks as well.

  •        Can assume management responsibilities if required.
  •        Leads site surveys and documents current site configuration and user requirements.
  •        Directs and leads development of engineering installation packages, Project Coordination Memoranda, and

       project drawings.

  •        Develops on-site installation schedules.
  •        Directs and leads documentation of the configuration changes at each site.
  •        Proficient in testing equipment/systems and following standard test procedures and providing test reports.
  •        Must be proficient at trouble-shooting problems with equipment to include system interfaces.




  • Must possess a minimum of an Active US Secret clearance eligibility.
