The Company

Torex Gold Resources Inc. is an intermediate gold producer engaged in the exploration, development, and operation of our wholly-owned Morelos Property, an area of 29,000 hectares in the highly prospective Guerrero Gold Belt located 180 kilometers southwest of Mexico City. The Company is based in Canada, with our Corporate Office located in Toronto, Ontario. As of 2023, Torex became the largest gold producer in Mexico.

The Company’s mining asset is the Morelos Complex, which includes the El Limón Guajes (“ELG”) Mining Complex, the Media Luna Project, a processing plant, and related infrastructure. Commercial production from the ELG Mining Complex began in April 2016, and the Company’s Media Luna project, located seven kilometers south of the ELG Complex, is currently under construction with commercial production expected to begin in 2025.

Torex’s key strategic objectives are to deliver Media Luna to full production, integrate and optimize the Morelos Complex, retain and attract the best industry talent, build on ESG excellence, and grow organically through ongoing exploration across the entire Morelos Property and through potential value accretive M&A.

Qualifications.

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or data science.

• 5+ years' of data engineering.
• 3+ years' with PowerBi design.
• 3+ years of Azure data analytics architecture.
• 3+ years of SAP data modeling.
• 3+ years of Power automate ETL.

Nice to have:

• Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
• 2+ years of machine learning and AI model development.
• 1+ years of SuccessFactors data analytics.
• 3+ years of Azure data factory ETL.
• 2+ years of application support coordination.
• Fluent in English written and spoken communication.
• Spanish communication will be considered an asset.
• Mining experience preferred.

Key Deliverables

Data and Analytics

• Resolves data analytics support incidents as assigned.
• Architect and monitor the enterprise data warehouse.
• Establish and monitor data extract transformation and load flows for data warehouse and application integrations.
• Lead discovery sessions with Team Leaders to create analytics, dashboards, and report requirements.
• Development of data analytics dashboards and reports.
• Monitoring and cleansing of data classification.
• Creation of machine learning models to meet business predictive requirements.
• Training of functional super users in the use of analytics tools.
• Changes to the data warehouse model to meet functional user requirements.
• Master data change management procedure execution.

Application Support

• Management and coordination with vendors.
• Support management.
• Application data integration monitoring and support.
