About the Role

Manager, Investor Relations (12–18 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

This is an exciting opportunity to join Torex Gold's Corporate Development & Investor Relations team in a key maternity leave coverage role. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & Investor Relations , you will play an integral role in supporting the Company's investor relations strategy, external communications, and public disclosure activities.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will help communicate Torex Gold's business strategy, operational performance, and long-term value proposition to investors, analysts and the broader investment community. You will prepare high-quality investor communications, support quarterly reporting activities, coordinate investor events and conferences, and contribute to maintaining transparent and timely disclosure practices.

This is a full-scope role designed to provide seamless coverage during the maternity leave period. We are looking for someone who can quickly integrate into the team, work independently, and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced public company environment.

What We're Looking for:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Communications or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Equity Research, Capital Markets or related experience.
  • Experience supporting a publicly traded company.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and capital markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

 

Experience & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in preparing investor presentations, earnings materials and executive communications.
  • Experience drafting high-quality written communications, including press releases, presentations and external messaging.
  • Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial results.
  • Experience coordinating disclosure materials and supporting quarterly reporting cycles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong planning, prioritization and execution skills.

Preferred

  • Investor Relations experience within the mining industry.
  • Familiarity with NI 43-101 terminology and mining disclosure.
  • Experience working with institutional investors and sell-side analysts.
  • Experience supporting investor conferences and roadshows.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Investor Relations Strategy & Execution

Support the execution of Torex Gold's Investor Relations strategy by preparing high-quality communications that effectively articulate the Company's operational performance, financial results, growth strategy, and long-term value proposition to the investment community.

  • External Communications & Disclosure

Lead the drafting and coordination of investor-facing communications, including quarterly earnings materials, press releases, presentations, scripts, and other public disclosure documents. Ensure all communications are accurate, timely, consistent, and aligned with regulatory requirements and corporate messaging.

  • Investor & Analyst Engagement

Support the planning and execution of meetings with investors and equity research analysts. Prepare briefing materials, coordinate follow-up activities, monitor analyst coverage, and help maintain strong relationships with the investment community.

  • Financial & Operational Analysis

Analyze financial and operational information to develop clear, concise, and compelling messaging for investors. Monitor market trends, analyst models, peer activity, and shareholder feedback to support Investor Relations initiatives and provide meaningful insights to senior leadership.

  • Investor Conferences & Events

Coordinate and support the Company's participation in investor conferences, roadshows, and industry events by preparing presentation materials, organizing logistics, and ensuring executives are equipped with relevant briefing information. Occasional travel may be required.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Finance, Technical Services, Operations, Sustainability, Legal, and Executive Leadership to gather, validate, and communicate information required for investor communications and public disclosure.

  • Corporate Presentations & Materials

Maintain and continuously improve investor presentations, fact sheets, website content, and other communication materials to ensure they accurately reflect the Company's performance, strategy, and investment proposition.

  • Regulatory Compliance

Support the preparation and coordination of continuous disclosure documents while helping ensure compliance with applicable securities regulations, stock exchange requirements, and corporate governance standards.

  • Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to enhance Investor Relations processes, reporting, communication materials, and stakeholder engagement practices to support the continued evolution of Torex Gold's Investor Relations function.

 

Additional Information

  • 12–18 month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave coverage.
  • Hybrid work arrangement is based in Toronto.
  • Occasional travel required to investor conferences and industry events, including conferences in Canada and the United States.
  • The successful candidate is expected to join as soon as possible to allow for knowledge transfer and transition with the current incumbent before the leave begins.

The posted salary range representsour target pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on the comprehensive review of the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and external benchmark data for comparable roles.
