About the Position 

As an Assistant Superintendent, you'll be a vital part of our construction team, collaborating closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure the flawless execution of multifamily construction projects. Your role will involve on-site coordination, managing field staff, interpreting plans, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. 

Key Responsibilities 

Collaborate with Project Superintendent and contractors to resolve construction challenges. 

Interpret plans and guide subcontractors to ensure compliance with codes and regulations. 

Oversee subcontractors, conduct investigations, and maintain a safe, organized job site. 

Foster a cohesive workforce through strong leadership and effective communication. 

Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000/per year depending on experience  

Requirements 

Bachelor's or Associates degree in construction management or related field. 

4+ years of progressive experience in multifamily construction management. 

Advanced knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost accounting. 

Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills 

Procore experience is a plus

Heavy Physical Activity           

Job requires team members to be mobile; frequently lifting 50 to 80 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds. The duties of the job require the frequent use of hand and fingers to type, reach, grasp, and handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. In addition, it requires the ability to stand, climb, stoop, kneel crouch, crawl, and navigate uneven surfaces. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Job duties require the physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, work above ground level on construction hoists, ability to climb ladders, negotiate work areas under construction, and maintain balance and equilibrium to prevent falling. Job frequently involves exposure to dust, fumes, odors, heavy machinery, machinery with moving parts, scaffolding and high places, and noise (must shout to be heard).
