WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
Are you an environmental designer with a passion for creating flawless renders for physical and digital spaces? Do you have the vision and industry experience designing 3d concepts and renders for pitches?  Fine tuning, editing and collaborating with fabricators and technical teams to create design intent documents, read shop drawings and be a part of the onsite execution experience? If you are collaborative, have expert ability to partner with a larger team to bring an idea to life, and you feel that you are the perfect candidate with the portfolio to back it up.

Opus Agency is searching for a 3D Experience Designer who is an expert at their craft. 
You’ll be working closely with creative directors, executive producers, project managers, producers, technical directors, copywriters, and strategists. You’ll be asked to craft immersive and engaging experiences for some of the world’s biggest brands. 
 
 
 
YOU SHOULD HAVE 
  • 7+ years of experience as a designer, with a background in environmental design, brand, and spatial design and visual storytelling.
  • An active interest for the latest trends in design, culture, and innovation.
  • A passion for finding the right balance of materials, space, and light to create innovative and inviting spaces.
  • Experience with every aspect of the design process from uncovering strategic insights to collaborating with engineers and producers to bring your idea into fabrication.
  • Ability to integrate with various disciplines and collectively build presentation and executional drawings including floor plans, perspective interiors, elevations, 3D fixtures, print and digital media.
  • A firm understanding of creative technology integration and collaborating with tech and production partners.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of materials, finishes, graphic applications, and fabrication methods for environments.
  • Strong presentation skills and an ability to articulate a vision with the ideas you create.
  • A keen sense of project flow, helping you identify project challenges and appropriate paths to resolution.
  • Solid visualization skills like hand sketching, Illustrator and Photoshop visualization.
  • Must have expert working knowledge of Cinema 4D and render engines.
  • Unreal Engine, Sketch up and Vectorworks experience is a plus.

  • Outstanding organizational skills, efficiency in workflow, attention to detail and follow-up
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Create environmental design for keynote, expo, product launches, brand activations, conferences and roadshows, broadcast sets, and industry events.
  • Execute detailed 3D visualizations such as floor plans, perspective interiors, elevations and 3D fixtures that are grounded in a strong strategic POV.
  • Partner closely with a larger experiential team to ensure that we are consistently and collaboratively bringing a big idea to life across the entire program.

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU 
 
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $95,000 and $110,000 Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
