Spectrum is seeking an experienced freelance Account Supervisor with strong healthcare communications/PR expertise to support project-based client work across R&D/pipeline and clinical trial communications.
Responsibilities
• Support client workstreams and ensure high‑quality, timely deliverables
• Develop communications materials (messaging, fact sheets, press releases, disease awareness content, clinical trial backgrounders)
• Support and synthesize media monitoring and industry insights
• Contribute to R&D/pipeline and clinical trial communications planning
• Manage smaller projects independently and communicate status clearly
• Collaborate across internal teams to deliver integrated work
• Provide light guidance to junior team members as needed
Qualifications
• Healthcare PR/communications agency experience
• Strong writing, editing, and scientific storytelling skills
• Experience with R&D/pipeline or clinical trial communications
• Familiarity with monitoring tools; Veeva experience is a plus
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple projects
• Comfort working independently while partnering closely with teams
• Understanding of advocacy engagement and clinical trial recruitment communications
