We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Supervisor to join our Client Services team! The ideal candidate will have healthcare PR/communications agency experience with knowledge of clinical trial communications, pipeline/R&D communications and account management, with a strong ability to collaborate with team members and drive projects to completion.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the team in managing client accounts and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assist in the development and execution of plans for R&D/pipeline communications, as well as for clinical trials communications.
- Develop communications materials, including fact sheets and backgrounders, messaging documents, press releases, disease awareness content, clinical trial backgrounders and communications plans; conduct and oversee media monitoring reports.
- Monitor project performance and support team in providing insights for delivering high-quality work to clients.
- Keeps a pulse on industry, client, therapeutic area and competitor news to allow us to be strategic thought partners to senior leaders on the team and our clients.
- Take ownership of smaller projects and ensure their timely and successful delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their career development and growth within Spectrum.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in R&D/pipeline communications, CTR communications and account management in a PR/Communications agency setting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and VEEVA.
- Strong active listening ability, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to determine priorities and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Regularly communicate status updates and determine when deliverables are ready for team review.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- An understanding and some experience working with advocacy teams.
- Knowledge of how clinical trials including recruitment work.
- An understanding of communications that sit above brands – R&D/pipeline communications.
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $85,000-$110,000. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
