We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Advertising team!
The Senior Account Executive provides day-to-day client contact at project level. The SAE can see projects through from development to execution. The SAE possesses a general understanding of marketing and brand strategy and is developing a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. This is a transitional role in which the SAE begins to demonstrate the ability to think strategically to get to the next level.
Responsibilities:
Account/Client
  • Daily client contact and follow-up
  • Develops and updates client status reports and timelines
  • Participates in client status meetings and conference calls
  • Creates contact reports to document client discussions and decisions
  • Manages projects through client review process, including submissions, and listening in on client review calls
  • Ensures brand style/messages are consistent across materials
  • Ensures client feedback is understood and incorporated properly
  • Builds strong relationships with clients and secures their respect and trust
  • Has a good understanding of the category, disease state, customer, product, and strategies
  • Assists in tactical planning and budget development
Financial
  • Works with Project Management to define appropriate estimates based on project scope
  • Submits estimates to client, and ensures signed documentation is received
  • Participates in internal discussions related to budget tracker and financial reporting
  • Helps generate financial budgets (SOWs)
Project
  • Develops and submits project briefs to Client
  • Leads input/kick-off meetings and ensures understanding of project scope
  • Oversees development of timelines alongside project manager
  • Works with team to ensure projects are progressing on time and on budget
  • Reviews project routes to ensure they are adhering to FDA and brand style guidelines, as well as Client/PRC/MLR comments are incorporated
  • Manages submissions to Client and PRC/MLR
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of healthcare advertising agency experience
  • Digital and/or Veeva experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail; very organized
  • Self-starter, driven and results oriented
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills
  • Proactive; takes initiative
  • Strong in both written and verbal communication
  • Team oriented
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $70,000-$95,000. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
