Position summary
The Senior Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth for multiple areas of Sikich’s business. This individual will partner closely with marketing leadership, practice leaders, and subject-matter experts to develop and execute integrated marketing activities. The ideal candidate is both creative and operational—able to manage projects, think strategically, and execute efficiently in a fast-paced, professional environment.
What will you do in this role?
Campaign Execution & Demand Generation
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, events, and partner channels.
- Collaborate with internal creative, communications, PR, and digital teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality marketing assets.
- Support partner and alliance marketing activities with third-party vendors and technology partners.
- Work with business unit leaders to understand priorities, target audiences, and key value propositions.
- Manage campaign workflows, timelines, and deliverables end-to-end.
- Support lead generation and nurturing initiatives using marketing automation tools.
- Support basic A/B testing of email, landing page, or ad variations to improve engagement and conversion performance.
- Conduct basic market and competitive research to inform personas, buyer journey alignment, and campaign strategy.
Content Development & Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical and complex concepts into compelling, audience-friendly materials for multiple channels, including web, email, social, events, and partner campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and voice by audience.
- Help craft positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences across industries, roles, and stages of the buyer’s journey.
- Coordinate development of multimedia assets (videos, infographics, presentations) in partnership with creative teams.
- Support light multimedia needs, such as short video clips or webinar edits, in partnership with creative teams.
Event & Webinar Management
- Coordinate virtual and in-person events, including webinars, client roundtables, and industry conferences and manage promotions, attendee communications, and drive post event follow-up with sales teams to maximize event ROI.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance of campaigns, content, email engagement, and events, while using data to refine strategies and optimize future initiatives.
- Maintain and analyze campaign and CRM data, ensuring accurate lead and opportunity tracking, KPI reporting, and actionable insights.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
- 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within consulting, professional services, or technology.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Dynamics 365)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and follow-through.
- Creative thinker willing to bring new ideas to the table.
- Collaborative and team-oriented with a growth mindset.
Preferred
- Experience supporting multiple business units or managing competing priorities.
- Knowledge of integrated marketing campaign planning and execution.
- Familiarity with SEO, paid digital channels, or social media strategy.
- Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced corporate environment.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $70,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
