Position summary

 The position of Sales Operations Coordinator will be responsible for playing a critical role in supporting Sikich’s Sales and Growth Leader for Assurance and Tax by strengthening pipeline integrity, improving data visibility, and enabling consistent sales execution across the organization. This role serves as the primary CRM administrator for Assurance and Tax and acts as a liaison to principals, directors, and business developers to ensure accurate opportunity tracking, actionable insights, and disciplined sales operations. 

 

What will you do in this role?

  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and visibility of the Assurance and Tax sales pipeline. 
  • Increase transparency and confidence in company-wide sales pipeline data. 
  • Improve consistency in opportunity tracking, pipeline stages, and probability definitions. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of opportunities, updates, and close outcomes. 
  • Maintain a clean, current pipeline across all service lines and markets. 
  • Monitor data quality and proactively resolve inconsistencies, duplicates, and gaps. 
  • Serve as the primary CRM administrator for the Assurance and Tax business. 
  • Maintain standardized opportunity stages, probability assumptions, and required fields. 
  • Support strong CRM governance through process discipline and data standards. 
  • Support the rollout and adoption of process improvements tied to growth initiatives. 
  • Provide guidance and best practices to principals, directors, and business developers on CRM usage. 
  • Track pipeline progression from lead through close, including stage aging and slippage. 
  • Ensure visibility into active, at-risk, and stalled opportunities. 
  • Support the development and enforcement of pipeline hygiene standards. 
  • Prepare materials for pipeline review meetings and highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Track follow-ups, next steps, and accountability coming out of pipeline discussions. 
  • Support growth initiatives through CRM analytics and reporting. 
  • Assist with the development of sales materials, presentations, and prospecting logistics. 
  • Support the development and/or review of proposals and proposal-related materials. 
  • Assist with commission tracking and coordinate with Finance on commission calculation processes. 

 

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Three (3) plus years of experience in a sales operations or sales support role supporting sales representatives and sales leadership. 
  • Experience in professional services, B2B, or a multi-service organization, required; experience operating within a complex, matrixed environment, strongly preferred. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization 
  • Strong team player who is comfortable working independently and in a virtual environment 
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills 
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset 
  • Comfort working in Excel, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, and related reporting and analytics tools 

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $80,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
