Position Overview

We are looking for a senior hands-on person in Oracle cloud with core expertise in Record to Report track that encompasses Cash management, Fixed Assets and General ledger modules. This role will also be working on the system design and integrations related to other boundary systems that has direct impact on R2R modules. 

Essential Job Functions

• This role will be the primary point of contact for all R2R initiatives and enhancements.
• This role will also bring in best practices for financial reporting and consolidation methodologies as we scale up the Finance platform in Oracle.
• Responsible for documenting end to end system workflows, process narratives for any new system initiatives.
• Responsible to provide solution design between Oracle Finance cloud and other integration systems like Concur, Adaptive etc. Ability to provide technical team the necessary functional inputs and architect the data flow between the systems.
• Involve in ITGC and SOX documentation whenever applicable.
• Responsible to provide immediate support to Finance stakeholders for critical Production issues especially during month-end/quarter-end.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Business and IT teams to provide proper impact assessment and identify/mitigate risks during the project execution.
• Ensure to follow change management process and adhere to IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have experience implementing Oracle cloud (at least 1 implementation) and minimum of 10+ years of working experience in Oracle applications. 
• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Software engineering or equivalent preferred).
• Proficient in fundamental concepts of Finance setups like Ledger, chart of accounts and Business units.
• Solid hands-on experience in Fixed Assets cloud, General ledger cloud and Cash management.
• Implement quick wins and small-scale projects inhouse without having to depend on external resources.
• Quickly resolve month end /quarter end issues and stabilize the process to improve operational efficiency.
• Experience in implementation of FP&A system is desired as this role will also be supporting the FP&A system like Adaptive.
• Bring out the best practices for the Business functions while implementing any feature or performing the roll out.
• Identify new features of Oracle releases that will benefit the operational process and suggest the finance team in using the new features.
• Knowledge in different project methodologies Scrum or Agile is desired.
• Work on different reporting tools like Oracle BI, Power BI and any future reporting tool that the company may adapt to.
• Constantly checking the month end process and checklist to suggest possible process/system improvements.
• Collaborate with technical teams for Integrations and other System automations.

Market Range: $136,000 - 170,000
