Shockwave Medical aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
Description
Essential Job Functions
- Own the logistics planning and execution of high impact peer-to-peer educational events for our customers. Examples of events include local speaker programs, national education programs, HQ based programs, fellows programs, and conference-based educational events.
- Deliver excellent customer experience for clinicians and ensure strong communication with internal stakeholders, resulting in above benchmark customer feedback.
- Support the meetings that you plan, including in-person travel and facilitation of virtual events using different software platforms.
- Identify and contract with vendors.
- Generate regular reporting and dashboards to track educational event activity and effectiveness.
- Manage faculty honoraria payments & attendee expenses.
- Manage and track program budgets and reconcile expenses in the system.
- Ensure the company upholds the highest standards of compliance, using various software platforms to track and report on your events.
- Balance simultaneous projects, manage multiple stakeholders, and establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years event planning experience or related work experience. Prior experience planning and executing education events in the medical device space is preferred.
- Ability to build successful partnerships with the sales force, develop relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience with AdvaMed and MDMA Compliance Code of Ethics.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of management and organizations.
- Highly organized and strong project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet customer needs while operating in a highly regulated environment with strong respect for process and compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with CRM & Event Management platforms such as CVENT, Salesforce, Speakcore is desired.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
All Other US Locations (Outside of SFBA): $90,000 - $126,000
