Responsibilities

ProTransport is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual who will be responsible for planning, implementing and training clients on a custom developed software package for our external customers. This individual will also provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot, analyze issues and provide solutions. This position requires an outgoing, confident individual, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will be a technical savvy, self-starter, who has a passion for excellence and values integrity, innovation and success. 

  • Develop an extensive working knowledge of the product suite
  • Provide software application training using a variety of delivery methods including web-based and on-site training  
  • Coordinate new customer implementations, providing effective training to maximize use of the software  
  • Develop training materials for implementations   
  • Provide end-user support via phone and email  
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by customers and provide solutions  
  • Facilitate problem-solving between end user and development staff  
  • Participate with development staff in testing new releases of the product 
  • Develop working relationship with Sales & Marketing staff to utilize product knowledge and customer relationships in support of sales efforts 

Qualifications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 
  • Willingness to engage with customers and perform research into their needs 
  • Ability to work well in cross functional teams 
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new skills 
  • Well organized, analytical, innovative and problem solving 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • Well versed in IT technologies and best practices 
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information in non-technical terms 
  • Ability to lead and work with teams, be part of a team, and understand team dynamics 
  • Well organized with strong detail orientation 
  • Results oriented, hardworking, quick to demonstrate success, organized, focused and persistent
