Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a Technical Marketing Strategist to join the marketing team. This role will report to the Director of Marketing and act as the marketing lead on all technical marketing projects, working closely with data, business intelligence and Salesforce teams. The Technical Marketing Strategist will also focus on marketing automation and analytics through Salesforce and Pardot. An ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, extremely organized and an effective communicator who is comfortable presenting to corporate leadership.

  • Collaborate and execute business engagement roadmaps, acting as the marketing technology lead for customer engagement
  • Gather and translate business requirements into operational solutions that increase efficiency, scalability and accountability for our customers
  • Configure, implement and maintain all aspects of Pardot, including segmentation, lead scoring, data lookups, automation and workflows, CRM and other third-party integrations, data tools, reporting and analysis
  • Help select, integrate and optimize the customer’s journey based on available and future technological marketing tools and platforms
  • Manage campaign operations, including designing, building and executing the user journey; lead scoring and lifecycle; asset utilization; and customer journey mapping
  • Assist with HTML coding for marketing emails and landing pages to optimize across all devices, browsers and platforms (e.g., mobile, desktop, Outlook, Gmail, etc.)
  • Work closely with data, business intelligence and Salesforce teams on all marketing initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field and 7+ years of experience in a similar marketing role
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot or Marketing Cloud
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable presenting marketing results and data to corporate executives
