As an AI Engineer specializing in Generative AI applications for clinical data, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions that leverage cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs) to revolutionize clinical business decision-making. Your expertise will be instrumental in building custom solutions and effectively interacting with customers to address their needs. 
  
Responsibilities
  

  • Spearhead the research, design, and implementation of advanced Generative AI algorithms and models tailored to healthcare applications, utilizing LLMs such as GPT-3, BERT, or T5. 
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to understand the intricacies of clinical data workflows and translate them into actionable technical solutions. 
  • Develop proof of concepts (POCs) to validate and showcase the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed AI solutions, leveraging both open-source and private models. 
  • Implement modern  Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts to enhance the generation of relevant and accurate information in clinical settings. 
  • Act as a technical point of contact for customers, understanding their requirements, addressing concerns, and providing technical support throughout the solution deployment phase. 
  • Develop and optimize deep learning architectures for text generation, data synthesis, and anomaly detection in clinical datasets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines. 
  • Utilize tools like Vectordb, Langchain, and LlamaIndex to optimize large-scale language model deployments and inference, ensuring efficiency and scalability. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Generative AI frameworks and methodologies, evaluating emerging technologies and tools to enhance solution design and implementation. 
  • Document solution architectures, design decisions, implementation details, and lessons learned, contributing to the documentation, dissemination, and presentation of research findings. 

  
Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. 
  • Extensive experience in AI, ML, and deep learning, with a focus on Generative AI applications for clinical healthcare data, . 
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face's Transformers library. 
  • Proficient in creating prompt templates using Langchain framework and employing various prompt engineering techniques with RAG for orchestrating API knowledge. 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. 
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and interact with customers. 
  • Experience in utilizing modern LLM frameworks in Gen AI, RAG Architectures, such as langchain, llamaindex, and vectordb concepts are an advantage. 
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is plus. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements, especially in the context of data collection to CSR submission stages is a plus.
