Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
  • Project Manager Lead with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification and experience in MDM (Master Data Management) and MDM Data Governance projects is critical in leading and managing complex projects in an organization.
  • Project Leadership and Management: Lead multiple concurrent projects focusing on MDM and data governance. Ensure projects are timely, within budget, and meet quality standards. Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and agile work environment.
  • SAFe Framework Implementation: Utilize SAFe principles to manage large-scale agile projects. Facilitate PI (Program Increment) planning, scrum of scrums, and other SAFe ceremonies—mentor teams in agile methodologies and practices.
  • MDM Strategy and Implementation: Drive the strategy and implementation of MDM solutions. Ensure effective master data management across the organization, including data quality, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.
  • Data Governance Oversight: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Work closely with data stewards and business units to ensure adherence to data standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and vendors. Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving: Identify project risks and dependencies, developing contingency plans as needed. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in project management and MDM implementations.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including allocating and scheduling personnel and ensuring the availability of necessary tools and technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating feedback and lessons learned into future projects. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in MDM and agile project management.
 
Education and Work Experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certified SAFe Practitioner with in-depth knowledge of Scaled Agile Frameworks.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading MDM and data governance projects.
  • Proven successful project delivery track record in a large-scale, complex environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Plus to have  
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience in industries with heavy data governance requirements, such as government, insurance, or healthcare.
 
Work Environment 
This job operates in a professional remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, phones, and photocopiers. 
 
Physical Demands 
This position requires the frequent and repetitive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Hand and finger dexterity is required.
