The Plumbing Superintendent Multifamily serves as the field operations’ on-site supervisor for field staff.  SUPERINTENDENT III is a very experienced MEP Superintendent at R.T. Moore. 

The Plumbing Superintend is responsible for the overall field production of RTMC projects.  Ensures that all projects achieve first time quality with adherence to RTMC Quality Standards and building codes.    Meets agreed upon schedules and budgets.  Leads projects to achieve no injuries or accidents due to non-compliance or careless behavior.  Achieve high levels of employee engagement through effective leadership and management of projects so that employees have a sense of pride in the work and maximize their earning potential.  A true cultural champion who knows how to inspire, influence, and motivate others.  Strong emotional intelligence that positively impacts team.  




  • Manage first time quality and code compliance through your jobsite team. 
  • Perform daily verification of install per design with inspections per RTMC Quality Standards, create punch lists
  • Professional and effective communication with builder and customer representatives turning obstacles into opportunities
  • Execute production plans and schedules.  Includes manpower, logistics, equipment, and safety.
  • Manage work scope and budgets.  Piece Rate and hourly reporting.  Track rework.
  • Effectively utilize labor and material through planning and leadership.  Communicate change order needs to PM
  • Daily Huddle:  Set expectations for quality and productivity needs with crews. 
  • Generate Daily Log reports.  Provide details for the entire production team to understand jobsite needs and to document jobsite activities and communication.
  • Material Logistics, Staging and movement, jobsite inventory management, and equipment/tool needs.
  • Identifies and leads change to continually improve processes and procedures while managing business stability
  • Workforce Development.  Lead by example—RTMC code of conduct and Core Values.  Represent RT Moore professionally
  • Mentors staff to develop mindsets, skillsets and builds talent leadership pipelines
  • Listens to the insights of those close to the front line
  • Accountable for retaining and developing talent
  • Builds and creates inclusive high-performance culture

  • Any other duties as assigned



  • Requires 4-year degree and 7 years MEP-specific experience or 10-years minimum construction experience with 7 years MEP-specific and proven leadership ability.  Experience must include a minimum of 5 years of successful installation team management.  (Not required but typically the experience preferred)
  • Capable and willing to wear jobsite specific personal protective equipment and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Competent in MS Office programs. 
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and expert in construction document interpretation
  • A desire to grow and be challenged.  Willing to dive in to a fast-paced and constantly evolving business.
  • Expert in interpreting IBC, IPC, and IMC and how that translates into field installation and application.
  • Ability to train and mentor SUPERINTENDENT I staff effectively
  • Expert in jobsite record keeping and communication methods such as Daily Logs, “toolbox talks”, Change orders, “Daily Huddles,” and material receiving. 
  • Expert in budget, material, work scope, and schedule management.
  • Completed OSHA 30
  • Willing and able to work on out of town/out of state projects as needed.


SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday


SALARY: $70,0000 up to 85,0000
