A day in the life:  

As the Principal Information Systems Security Engineer, you will support a highly dynamic team of mission focused security engineers in support of existing and mission focused technologies.   

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:    

  • Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of secure networking, computing, enclave environments.
  • Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components.
  • Support the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures
  • Apply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
  • Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data.
  • Interact with the customer and other project team members.          

What you bring to the table:  

  • 20+ years of experience as a cyber security engineer supporting projects or programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university 
    CISSP, CASP or a CSSLP certification
  • An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph

Salary Range:   
  • Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation.  Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself. 
  • Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the  projected pay range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000.
