Responsibilities & Accountabilities 
  • Assist in the completion of periodic credit reviews on QTC’s clients and investment counterparties 
  • Complete relevant analysis and provide borrowing recommendations on new client borrowing requests  
  • Monitor, report on and analyse the markets and operating environment QTC’s counterparties and clients operate in 
  • Make recommendations on QTC counterparty limits and analysis to support these 
  • Manage, enhance and build financial models, databases and spreadsheets as required 
  • Complete management reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual basis 
  • Support the Funding & Markets Division (FMD) and other QTC teams by undertaking detailed quantitative assessments and providing debt-related advice on ad-hoc project work and completing thematic credit papers 
  • Travel within Australia may be required to fulfil the requirements of this role  
  • Other duties as deemed relevant to business requirements and within the technical competency of the position

Qualifications 
Essential 
Degree in commerce, economics, business, finance or other relevant discipline. 
 
Experience 
Essential 
  • Minimum two years (Analyst) experience in a credit, financial analysis or project finance related role. 
  • Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of financial statements, financial ratios and risk assessment and excellent financial modelling skills. 
  
Desirable 
  • Experience using Power BI, or a willingness to learn as part of the role.
