The Senior QA Engineer Role

Join Qlik's major team at the forefront of developing industry-leading Analytics and Data Integration SaaS products as a Senior QA Engineer.

Your foundational contributions will empower global R&D teams to deliver highly scalable, efficient, observable, and resilient micro-services, supporting mission-critical Data and Analytics use cases for thousands of high-profile customers worldwide. As part of our technological evolution, your work will shape the growth and success of our cloud ecosystem.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Testing New Functionalities: Collaborate closely with development teams to test new functionalities for existing products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Test automation: Design and build complete automated test cycles to ensure non-regression on our products.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing to ensure our products meet established quality standards in terms of reliability, usability, and performance.
• Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify and report product issues, verify their resolution, and work proactively to address any quality-related concerns.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with agile teams and R&D support to understand customer requirements and ensure they are met through high-quality products.
• Community Engagement: Actively engaged in sharing our practices, organizing events, webinars, and forums to promote engagement and collaboration.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• At least 4-5 years’ experience testing software products
• Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA
• Experience using any JS automation frameworks (ex: codeceptjs, cypress, ...)
• Technology background and understanding of different architectures.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, especially for technical documentation.
• Proven ability to work well with others in a fast paced, iterative product definition and development environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

The location for this role is:

France, Nantes (Hybrid position)
