The Senior Contracts and Legal Operations Specialist

 

Qlik is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Contracts and Legal Operations Specialist to provide support for the Legal Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transactional agreements and experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems. This role will be instrumental in providing transactional support to Sales, ensuring contract compliance, and streamlining contract processes and systems. The successful candidate will be able to effectively collaborate with various internal teams and external clients, which may include Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Global Procurement and IT.

 

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

  • Review and negotiate software and SaaS agreements, order forms, and various other types of agreements, including vendor agreements.
  • Manage a queue of legal or contractual requests and provide timely response.
  • Act as the Legal Department point of contact to Sales, Quote to Cash, and Renewal Teams for commercial contractual changes.
  • Collaborate cross functionally and provide practical and decisive guidance to internal business teams to address contract and system related inquiries.
  • Identify, recommend and implement technology improvements to optimize Legal Department systems, including DocuSign CLM and OneTrust.
  • Assist with internal training of Sales, Quote to Cash, and Renewal Teams sponsored by the Legal Department.
  • Support other Legal team projects and transactions as needed.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within an in-house legal department of a tech company.
  • Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial legal terms of a broad range of standard contracts.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in contract review and analysis
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
  • Passionate about technology and energized by the challenges of serving a dynamic and global growth company in a cutting-edge sector.
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and can engage effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful with strong follow-through skills.
  • Team player who brings a positive, "can do" attitude to the workplace and works collaboratively with other members of the global legal team and with internal and external clients

 

The location for this role is:

 

  • Massachusetts, Pennsylvania - Remote/Hybrid - Eastern and Central time zones

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $110,000.00 - $118,000.00 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
