The SAP Software Engineer Role

As an SAP Software Engineer within our R&D customer first team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, troubleshooting and maintaining our data replication and analytics products.

What makes this role interesting?

Develop, debug, deliver and maintain code for our data replication and analytic products

Providing active customer escalation investigations for all Qlik offerings in SAP, determining root cause, coordinating and implementing solutions with the extended R&D and support teams

Be in close contact with other development team members, architects, QA, and customer first

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

Collaborate with customer first leaders and solution architects to ensure that best engineering practices are adopted in the field and improve our products

Engage with the R&D product release processes and establish a customer advocacy role, whereby the voice of the customer is represented

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics
• Team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment while interacting with other developers and team members
• Self-learner, with the ability to work independently. Comfortable tackling new problems and thinking outside the box

• High coding skills along with the ability of troubleshooting and maintaining our data replication and analytics products
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
• Knowledge in C/C++
• Experience in Java programming

• Knowledge of relational databases

• Experience with SAP solutions and SAP infrastructure, including SAP HANA, S/4 HANA.
• Experience with Infrastructure Providers (Amazon AWS, Google GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)

Advantage:

• SAP ABAP knowledge
• Data integration experience
• Reverse engineering skills

The location for this role is:

Israel: Haifa or Kfar Sava
