The Senior Financial Analyst Role
The Senior Financial Analyst will collect, analyze, and report on data and metrics related to the assigned organization for use in monthly board and management reporting, business reviews, forecasting, and annual/multi-year planning.

Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Supports the monthly close process for the R&D & SaaS businesses
- Consolidates monthly actuals and provides reporting to both the R&D, SaaS and Corporate FP&A teams providing insight on business performance/results
- Recommends reporting, system, and process improvements to drive automation, efficiency, and accuracy
- Supports all presentations, reporting, and analysis for monthly Board of Director meetings
Budget, Monthly Forecasts, & Financial Modeling
- Supports the budget and forecast process by providing required reporting, forecasting, and insights to the long-term financial model as it relates to controllable R&D expenses and SaaS margins
- Works closely with the R&D teams to review and validate the R&D business outlook for forecasting, budgeting, and multi-year planning
Process & System Improvements
- Utilizes Adaptive Insights to drive forecasting, reporting and analysis, identifying and implementing changes to drive automation and efficiency
- Owns all documentation and training around R&D reporting, ensuring all parties responsible for providing input into the reporting and forecasting process are following all guidelines
- Improves all processes through automation and elimination of nonvalue-added activities
Business Partnering
- Be a strategic business partner for the R&D teams by providing analytical support and consultation on key decisions
- Partner closely with analysts on our Corporate FP&A team to help prioritize objectives across the team and provide inputs for key deliverables
We’re looking for a teammate with:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business discipline
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Finance or Finance-related specialties, cross functional projects.
- Strong financial reporting/analytical skills gained through work experience
- Experience building and maintaining complex financial models
- Ability to organize, summarize, and validate large data sets across multiple systems
- Knowledge of Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, QlikView/QlikSense or similar tools
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), must be Excel power user
- Ability to work under pressure to meet due dates and handling ad hoc requests on a day-to-day basis
- Can work cross functionally, gathering requirements from different parts of the organization
- Strong communication skills

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $105,000 - $115,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
