Role Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Rigging Technician to join our Lighting Department team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining lighting fixtures, camera rigs, and sets for studio production. This position requires technical expertise, physical stamina, and a commitment to upholding safety standards in a 24/7 studio environment.
Responsibilities:
- Rigging and Setup: Install lighting fixtures and accessories on rigs, ensuring secure setups with proper safety equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Use professional safety equipment and specialized tools daily while adhering to studio safety procedures.
- Studio Safety Compliance: Ensure the studio environment is safe and compliant with company regulations and industry standards.
- Multinational Team Collaboration: Work closely with an international team to support daily studio operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Basic Lighting Knowledge: Familiarity with studio lighting equipment and willingness to learn how to use it safely.
- Technical Skills: Ability to assist with setting up and adjusting simple lighting setups under guidance.
- Physical Requirements: Comfortable with light physical tasks, including carrying equipment (up to 20 lbs) and occasional work at heights with supervision.
- Language Skills: Good working knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Teamwork: Positive attitude and willingness to support and collaborate with team members in an international environment.
Nice to have:
- Technical Certification: Relevant training or certification in rigging or lighting.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in live studio or production environments.
