DRIVER SUPERVISOR

Description

Essential Duties:
  1. Communicating with drivers on loads, DOT logs and hours of service.
  2. Assign loads.
  3. Oversee drivers and resolve problems that may arise.
  4. Other duties as needed.
 Job Requirements:
  • 12 months of dispatch experience
  • 6 months experience with Microsoft computer programs
  • Working knowledge of truck load transportation
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations regarding logs and hours of service
  • Good organizational skills
  • Able to work Monday thru Friday and every other Saturday
  • Good attitude towards drivers and ability to work well with drivers
  • Ability to make decisions and follow policies
  • Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations that are related to the job
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Valid CDL license Dependability a must
  • Able to pass a background check and drug and alcohol test
 EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; four-year degree preferred but would consider a combination of education and work experience.
