DRIVER SUPERVISOR
Description
Essential Duties:
- Communicating with drivers on loads, DOT logs and hours of service.
- Assign loads.
- Oversee drivers and resolve problems that may arise.
- Other duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
- 12 months of dispatch experience
- 6 months experience with Microsoft computer programs
- Working knowledge of truck load transportation
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations regarding logs and hours of service
- Good organizational skills
- Able to work Monday thru Friday and every other Saturday
- Good attitude towards drivers and ability to work well with drivers
- Ability to make decisions and follow policies
- Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations that are related to the job
- Ability to multi-task
- Valid CDL license Dependability a must
- Able to pass a background check and drug and alcohol test
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; four-year degree preferred but would consider a combination of education and work experience.
