POSITION SUMMARY:  The Feed Driver is responsible for transporting feed from the feed mill to the family farms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drives truck to deliver feed to family farms in an efficient and economical fashion.
2. Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance to divisional guidelines and D.O.T. requirements.
3. Loads truck in a manner that ensures the quality and integrity of the feed.  Obtains representative sample of feed delivered to each grower.
4. Unloads feed into correct bin(s) at growers location ensuring integrity is maintained.
5. Communicates written and verbally with associates, maintenance (and growers as necessary) relevant information such as tank levels, conditions, etc.
6. Picks up feed as directed.
7. Other duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working ability to climb 25 feet high structures.
• Valid Class A driver’s license with a Manual Endorsement
• Minimum of one year experience with a CDL

• Mechanical background preferred
