Description

🧰 Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and structures based on technical drawings.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Operate manual and power tools, including welding equipment (MIG, TIG, arc welding).
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Follow safety protocols and operational procedures at all times.
  • Keep accurate records of completed work and materials used.
 

🧠 Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal cutting processes.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical blueprints.
  • Attention to detail and precision in fabrication and repairs.
  • Problem-solving skills for technical and mechanical challenges.
  • Proficiency with measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and tools.
  • Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
 

🎓 Qualifications 

  • Technical education or certification in industrial mechanics, welding, or maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial fabrication or mechanical maintenance.
  • Welding or industrial safety certifications are a plus.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts or travel for field assignments if needed.
