Position Summary

 

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for the sales of Reznor brand and parts thru HVAC wholesale distributors and/or commercial contractors. 

 

  • Call on large, national HVAC distributor head offices and branches.   
  • Establish and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers at HVAC distributor head offices and branch locations.
  • Ensure that sales channels are maintained at an optimum level and resolve sales channels conflicts.
  • Develop joint sales plans with Sales Reps to achieve targeted sales results.
  • Joint visits to customers with Sales Reps.
  • Provide ongoing sales and technical support to Sales Representatives and Reznor distributors.
  • Work with consulting engineers, electrical utilities, and natural gas utilities to ensure Reznor products are specified and qualify for energy efficiency rebates.
  • Liaison with factories to resolve issues such as shipment delays, installation, and quality related problems.
  • Work collaboratively with product management to ensure products are meeting market requirements. 
  • Develop sales promotion strategies and advise distributors on acceptable promotions activities.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and proactively use competitive bids on large projects to maintain and grow Reznor market share.
  • Attend management meetings as required.
  • Managing rep agency to all territory.
  • Represent the company at HVAC distributor and industry meetings.
  • Attend HVAC trade shows as required.

 

 

Position Qualifications

 

  • 5-10 years of HVAC industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Experience working with and managing independent reps.
  • Experience selling to HVAC National Accounts (Asset).
