Job Summary:

The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for the sales of Reznor brand equipment and parts through HVAC national account wholesale distributors. 

  • Call on large, national HVAC distributor corporate offices districts and branches.   
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key decision makers at the HVAC national accounts.
  • Ensure that sales channels are maintained at an optimum level and resolve sales channel conflicts.
  • Develop sales plans for the all national accounts to achieve targeted sales results.
  • Visit national accounts on a regular basis to include, but not limited to, events such as trade shows, counter days, training meetings and so on.
  • Provide ongoing sales and technical support to Reznor national accounts.
  • Work in conjunction with the national accounts with consulting engineers, electrical utilities, and natural gas utilities to ensure Reznor products are specified and qualify for energy efficiency programs such as rebates.
  • Liaison with factories to resolve issues such as shipment delays, installation, and quality related problems.
  • Work collaboratively with product management to ensure products are meeting market requirements. 
  • Develop sales promotion strategies and advise national accounts on acceptable promotional activities.

 

  • Monitor competitors’ activities and proactively use competitive bids on large projects to maintain and grow Reznor market share.
  • Attend management meetings as required.
  • When required represent the company at industry meetings or events.
  • Work with cross functional sales team to maximize sales in national accounts.
  • Solicit and analyze customer feedback for product performance and value.
  • Build cross functional relationships internally to support accounts and maximize sales.

 Position Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of HVAC industry sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, notably in Engineering or another technical field.
  • Experience selling to HVAC National Accounts (Asset).
  • Knowledge of HVAC heating equipment and applications strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Regular business hours (some weekends required).
  • 50% - 70% travel by airplane or automobile.
