Requirements and responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this client will be able to work with the existing team, helping to design, plan, implement and document .NET applications. Together with the rest of the team they will review the implementation of applications following code standards and style guides and will set workflows ensuring that everyone uses the same tooling, having scalability, security, testability, accessibility, maintainability, and robustness as some of their main goals.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in code reviews with their team-mates. Running reviews will guarantee the structure and design of the applications follow the standards and guidelines.
- Document and assist in defining functional and technical requirements of different applications.
- Evaluate new frameworks and tools that can be integrated into the existing applications without breaking previous implementations.
- Assist in the development of a new application and solve issues as they appear.
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET (C#).
- Develop integrations between backend services, databases, and Sitecore components.
- Participate in architecture discussions focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
- Work with Sitecore content delivery (CD) and content management (CM) integrations.
- Troubleshoot application issues by analyzing server logs and performing necessary server updates.

Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer working with .NET / .NET Core.
- Strong knowledge of C#, RESTful APIs, ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework), Microsoft SQL Server and SQL language, including database design, writing queries.
- Experience in working with Angular is a plus.
- Practical experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation/CDK, RDS, S3, etc.).
- Experience integrating or working with Sitecore or other CMS applications
- Experience with Git and development platforms such as GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps Pipelines, etc.).
- Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, OWASP basics).
- Knowledge of microservices or modular backend architectures is a plus.
