Description

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Payroll Coordinator as a full-time job in Nashville, Tennessee. 
The Payroll Specialist demonstrates advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in payroll processing, HR/payroll systems, timekeeping, and compliance. This role ensures accurate, timely payroll execution while supporting employees, managers, and HR operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and submit accurate, timely payroll with required approvals.
  • Maintain and audit employee payroll, timekeeping, and HR system data.
  • Process new hires, terminations, adjustments, supplemental pay, and garnishments.
  • Resolve employee payroll and accrual inquiries.
  • Prepare payroll audit reports and ensure compliance.
  • Train and support timekeepers and payroll system users.
  • Serve as back-up to the payroll manager and perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma (Required)
  • UKG Pro "Dimension" and Workforce Management (Required)
  • Five years of experience in payroll processing, HR/payroll systems, and timekeeping administration (Required)
