Demonstrates knowledge and abilities to correctly perform the following duties for payroll processing:
Ensures the timely completion and sign-off of payroll.
Completes new hires from the automated recruitment module, agency contractor set-up, and terminations.
Maintains accurate data and audits all time entries in timekeeping and HR/Payroll.
Correctly computes adjustments for over-payment, under-payment, and retroactive pay.
Inputs, verifies any supplemental pay to employees and ensures proper authorization has been received.
Obtains appropriate sign offs on payroll before submitting to payroll manager.
Assists employees with payroll or accrual issues.
Completes HR and Payroll Audit reports.
Provides access and training to new departmental timekeepers/users on payroll policy and procedure.
Completes garnishments and termination/new hire entries required for payroll processing.
Updates the timekeeping system and resolves and support related issues.
Provides back-up for payroll manager.
All other duties as assigned.
Education: HS Diploma Required
Experience: 5 Years Preferred
