Additional Certification & Licensures details • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee. • BLS and NRP Required; certifications are required. • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification or equivalent is required within 90-days of hire. • S.T.A.B.L.E is required within 30 days of hire. • CPI is required within 30 days of hire. • ACLS is required within 60 days of hire. Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or other relevant areas are a plus.
Additional experience requirements • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in L&D, PP, and NICU Level II/Nursery area is preferred but cross-training will be provided for those proficient in one or two of those areas. • Recent experience in an acute care facility is highly desirable. • Experience with quality/performance improvement programs utilizing clinical pathways/guidelines is a significant asset. • Recent experience in an acute care facility is preferred. • Experience in quality/performance improvement programs involving the use of clinical pathways/guidelines is preferred. • Knowledge of the Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory standards is preferred. • The candidate must be able to link quality of care/services to patient satisfaction, financial, and other statistical data. • The candidate must possess excellent computer and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to educate staff and physicians effectively. • Surgical OB Assist is required, training available within 30 days of hire. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
