Description
- Actively participates in development of Infection Control policies, procedures and initiatives.
- Maintains strategies and action plan for isolating, preventing and minimizing the spread of infectious diseases.
- Implements and maintains processes consistent with evidence based practices to reduce incidence of healthcare acquired infections.
- Collects and analyzes data on the incidence of HAIs and the success or failure of the various prevention strategies
Certification & Licensures details:
Must be actively certified as an infection control practitioner [CIC]
