What you’ll do
This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to build a long-term career in a stable, growing company where you’ll be hands-on every day, working with skilled teammates who care about what they do. Day to day you’ll:   
  • Set up stamping dies and machines to produce metal parts and components, including selecting, installing, and aligning tools, dies, and fixtures
  • Run production as needed on stamping machines—handing off jobs to operators when possible, but completing runs directly in our small-team environment
  • Monitor operations and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to detect defects, ensure quality, and adjust machines as necessary
  • Train operators on proper inspections, safe machine operation, and what is not allowed for safety reasons
  • Provide hands-on mechanical training to develop operators’ skills and demonstrate how to correctly run machines
  • Read blueprints and job orders to determine specifications, materials, and operational sequences
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment or production to maintain quality and uptime
  • Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of machines, dies, and work area
  • Record operational data, production progress, and changeovers in written or electronic form
 
What you need to thrive in this role
We’re looking for someone who has the right mix of technical know-how and practical problem-solving skills. To succeed in this role, you should bring: 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes
  • General knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance 
  • Basic math skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills for safety and quality

  • Starting pay in the $23.00 - $25.00/hr range
  • Monday – Friday 6:30a-2:00pm schedule, with the option for overtime (not mandatory)
